Do these trade-only toy fairs allow press of any sort in? If so, then
clearly disclosing stuff seen there is ok, so long as there is no
contract violation (if you had to sign something to get into the fair,
or to see the "secret" stuff at one of the booths, you should honor that
contract). Any literature distributed at that fair would also seem to be
fair game, except where the literature right up front indicates that the
information contained within is not to be disclosed.

Good point. The photographs look like it was OK to take them.

This is a totally different situation than the dealers catalogs (or were
you referring to those). Of course if the dealers catalog is available
at the trade show...

As a total aside, any company showing stuff at a trade show should
expect anything juicy to get published, even if there are some contracts
limiting publication (but this doesn't mean Lugnet should condone such).

Any company printing dealer's catalogs should also expect them to enter the
public domain sooner rather than later?

TLC should probably put a statement at the front of the catalog indicating that it is NOT to be (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
