SB was also a major profiteer when it came to older stuff and eBay.

We're talking about his RTL posting antics.

So was I.  I guess you never saw some of his asking prices on sets
that he was trying to sell on RTL AND eBay at the same time, with no
mention that they were going in both places.

If I had more access to LUGNET I would probably be the same - RTL is now
50% retail postings - I suggest a split to have RTLD and RTLM but since
the posts have halved from 200 to 100 a day since LUGNET came into being
their doesn't seem much point.  LUGNET is far better than RTL - I really
like my local group.  The problem is that RTL will slowly die if more
change over to LUGNET - the only reason I got attached to RTl was
because of the community spirit of the group - I haven't found another
group like it.

Most of the decent people have moved over to Lugnet, so the
community's here now for me.

Check out alt.hobbies.slotcars for an example of what could happen, it's
group with regular posters but nothing really happens.

Slotcars?  Like those little electric racetracks I had when I was a
kid?  I'll give it a looksee.
