I hope this very logical idea does get some consideration, because only one
dollar a shirt is a dirty rotten crime.

THIS T-SHIRT THING IS A CRIME!

From the sales page:

"$13.99 of the price ($16.99 on the oversize shirts) of each shirt goes to
CafePress.com to cover their costs and the remainder helps support LUGNET. "

I am sorry, but you guys are crazy!  CafePress is making a killing off of
your logo. You make only $1? There is such a demand for Lugnet logo
merchandise that you all should re-evaluate your position.

First off, Logo shirts don't cost $13.99. Look at this link:

http://www.handsandhearts.org/merchandise.htm

When I started Hands and Hearts, I needed a fundraiser for the brand new
non-profit.  I looked into Logo t-shirts, and found a gold mine.  For a 2
sided logo shirt, full back and partial breast with a three color logo is
only $3.50 a piece. I sell the shirts for $10, but I could easily sell them
for more.  I know Lugnet could sell its logo shirts for $15+++.  I make
$6.50 a t-shirt.  Lugnet right now makes $1.

I hope  didn't offend anyone by stating my thoughts, but this did need to be
said.  I hope the Admin does consider my suggestions, because if you do,
Lugnet may never be financially opressed again.  Suz, there may be so much
money, you may be able to quit your other job and pay yourself a good salary
while doing what you love.

I too hope I am not stepping on anyones toes but... I have a brother who does
silk screened tshirt (www.gridlock.com).  I could twist his arm and get him to
do the shirts at very little (or no expected) cost to lugnet.

I hope I can help.  I remember this community from the rec.toys, lego days and
have found lugnet to be an extremely valuable source of enjoyment as well as the
number one lego resource on the net.  My two boys are now 4 and 7 and I finally
have the time to get a bit more involved.  I hope that I can.

Happy lego
