Well, since I've been posting through the web interface lately a lot (silly broken eudora), I had some thoughts on changes to it. How about, since lugnet already gives me a cookie (to keep me logged in), storing in it my "name" "email" and "org" so (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Todd, Suz, et al Lugnet can be rather intimidating, IMO, to newcomers due to its massive size and scope. The Pause database aside, the news portion of Lugnet is growing every day by 400 messages or so and can leave new arrivals here with a sense of (...) (...) The big reason that Lugnet is spam-free is that for most of it's content, you have to register to post, and spammers hate that. The only places this isn't quite accurate is when Lugnet interacts with a mailing list, as is the case with several (...) (25 years ago, 26-Feb-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)
