You couldn't put it together and bring it down to Gosport on the 28th April
could you?

Can anyone else do one of these?  Mark - what about you?

I have managed to construct a copy of the main 1593 spaceship from spares and
the brickshelf intructions (except I've had to substitute the grey webbed dish
with a white one). I'll bring it to Gosport - if anyone has a spare grey webbed
dish could I borrow it for the day, for the photoshoot? I'm not sure I can
reconstruct the land vehicle. I'll try, though.

Chris

One recent lot of second hand Lego I bought had two large inverse trans
blue slopes, two white one trans yellow and one grey.  It was advertised
as space lego, but when I got there I realised he was selling loads of
lots separately (train, technic, castle, basic) and it was so mixed up,
I had to buy the lot!  I managed to get an 8860 + instructions though.

I worked out that I had a 6980, two 6970s (;-)) a 6950 and possibly a
6929.
I built a 6880 out of it about two months ago when I first got it, then
last week, after Steve B's help, got round to building the rest.

The 6980 is missing a fair few parts, but the 6929 is complete apart
from the large inverse trans blue slope.  So I am wondering if I
actually bought a 1593!

I would like to know what the 4 leftover pieces are (Dave?) and will
certainly bring the 1593 to SCLF (assuming I am not moving house on that
day)
Is this now the most expensive Lego set ever?

Before I go, a quick plea for loads o' white tail fins and grey space
stands - are these the most fragile lego pieces or what!

Does anyone have inventories for classic space sets, I still have lots
of specialised bits, and not enough time to do the detective work!

If anyone is interested, I would happily chip in and inventory some of
my classic space sets, we could then send them to Dan Boger or someone.

Mark
