  Re: Request to move .mecha

(...) if I missed one. Going forward, it's not necessary to post cancel requests, you can mail them to any admin. It's not really WRONG to post the request, I suppose, but it's a bit cluttering. (19 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)

  Application for Lugnet Membership

Hi all, More than a month ago I applied for Lugnet membership. It took some time to get the money transfer organized (I'm no paypal member, and other means where simply not acceptable because of the banking fees involved), but Rene of 1000steine.de (...)   Email Postings being swallowed

If my spelling is off, it's because I'm posting through the web interface. :-) The problem of email postings just disappearing into the ether has been around for quite a while. Basically I write a post, mail it in, and get no auth responce. So I (...) (19 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Bug fixed

Just a short note - while working on something else, I ran into a bug I forgot about. When posting to multiple groups via SMTP, the poster would get multiple copies of the authentication message - one for every group posted to - even though any of (...) (...) Yes. However the LUGNET server doesn't currently have the capabilty to send (originate) mail, does it? That was how I read what you said before. In that case, if it's true that it can't, what then? (19 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.general)

Email Setups (was: Re: Badgering emails)

(...) I think this issue can be boiled down to: 1. Official LUGNET email messages need to come from "*@lugnet.com" reply-to. Resolution: Each admin sets reply-to in their email client. Timeframe: Immediate. 2. To avoid spamblockers and spoof (...) (19 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.general)
