New Moc - Stained Glass Window Mosaic

Hello all, A long while back, I was talking to an AFOL about mosaics and he said he had wanted to create one in transparent bricks. I thought, "gee that would be cool", but I don't own *that* many trans bricks. Then magically, I ended up with a pile (...) (...) I have a few.....the first would be using all my bricks as a kid to make a town with an amusment park (using those old large, colored lego gears)...yeah, way back in the 70's.... Then there was the Star Wars licensing...growing up, my brother (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people)

Re: Did Bricklink make Lego bulk sales irrelevent?

(...) In a sense, yes. Purchasing recycled bricks (new, and used) has its advantages, but one would need to look at from TLC's eyes as well. Do you not think that services like BL are hurting Lego sales From S@H and retailers? (...) I do purchase (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.theory)

  "Sticker" images

I have a sticker image that I want to put in a rendering. It's going to span multiple bricks. It's not a sticker that LEGO ever made. I found this thread: (URL) seems to give some hints but they were a bit subtle for my tiny POVbrain. I KNOW this is (...) (23 years ago, 2-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

My MOC Fighter Plane (first posted)

Hello All, I called this MOC “Dual Pilot Fighter Plane”. I should probably work harder on naming my creations. This is the first model I have posted on the internet, so be nice to me :) There are 50 studs nose to tail, 32 studs at its widest point, (...)   Clone sightings

I just spotted a new (to me) brand of clone brick at TRU called X-Blocks. I’ve never heard of it before, but this particular set is a licensing of the movie The Hulk, and it’s apparently called the Hulk Destructor Construction System. The set is (...)   New at JABA - more from 7110 & 7128

Well, I posted the remainder of the items from several copies of 7110 and 7128 tonight. I set these auctions to end in 4 days, mainly so they wouldn't end on Sunday. Here's an easy link to everything added in the last three days: (URL) are some, (...) (25 years ago, 28-May-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

I'm not necessarily bothered by specialized elements (and I have long argued that anyone interested in LEGO trains CAN NOT be bothered by specialized elements), but mostly I'm bothered that the Megabloks elements don't fit stylistically with (...) As long as John comes though with lending me white and pink system bricks for the TO’s and BrinkLink delivers the lights on time, I should be able to field one of my classical “well built, but ran out of time to program” entries ;-) I still (...)
