  Double articulated locomotive
 
I finaly found the time and bricks to build a double articulated locomotive I started to build about half a year ago. It's a sixteen wheeled beast with two engines.   Instructions difficult for 7 year old
 
My littlest niece got the 200-piece play table for Christmas (I wonder who?) and we tried to follow some of the instructions inside the idea book. They are really hard for a 7-year old. The chief difficulty is when what should be a 6 step build is (...) (22 years ago, 28-Dec-02, to lugnet.inst)

  idea for what would be the PERFECT bunch of lego sets
 
1.sell a set that contains just basic parts (bricks, plates, slopes) in the basic colors (like the 3033 but with plates and slopes as well as bricks) 2.then sell addon sets that contain other parts. For example: Building/House addon with green (...) (23 years ago, 14-Feb-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Jake- That April 1 post about the Dark Grey bucket got it just about right. For each color on life support (dark gray, light gray, brown), make two tubs: Basic: Mostly bricks and plates and some slopes, tiles and cylinders Accessory: Everything else (...) When the bricks are snapped together the color shift becomes obvious to me but not to my wife... although, I don't think she even looks when I ask :) I just recieved (...)
