Well, that would be more interesting (both to builders and viewers) than a
simple circle. The cover could be build from 1x bricks & slopes, laid flat.
Put some rail plates along the edge, and some 1x4 grooved bricks on the
'concrete' pad.
Since there's no actual depth, just use black tile for the hole...
