Collecting Rare Lego in a Binder....

I'm starting this thread in lugnet.general because it is sort of an off Lego topic.... I have many old Lego parts from the 1949-70 era. I was thinking about getting a 3 ring binder and somehow putting together a collection of the various old and (...) (19 years ago, 1-Sep-05, to lugnet.general)

With some great input from Dean, Jordan & Mark (Thank you). Version 2 is online: (URL) Aside from the springless minifig legs and BBB wheels, it is LEGO pure.   Re: Gas prices in USA

(...) Hi, Here (France) the price of gasoline is about $6.5 $/gallon (1.40 euros/l) and raising. I have a 45-50 miles (74 km) commute from home to the office (quite the same situation for my wife). To answer to Allister, I have to say the government (...) (19 years ago, 1-Sep-05, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  Re: Ghetto Lego?

(...) My Legoland town is *exactly* like this. There needs to be some reason for the million or so police sets. And there are enough knifes and pistols and rifles and masks floating around. And shifty unshaved minifig heads. And on and on. Junkyards (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

10133 BNSF Mod using BBB wheels

The 10133 BNSF GP-38 Locomotive is a nice engine. (URL) But why uses those stickers for the exhaust fans, when you can use BBB wheels: (URL) This mod uses three BBB 17.6mm flanged train wheels.   Re: Am I the only person who finds Lego CAD systems infuriating?

(...) I understand why Lego Creator/LDD/whatever has a different interface, same as why I understand the Mindstorms interface is the way it is versus similar to a regular IDE like VisualStudio (eg BricXCC). When I see kids use the Mindstorms "block (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Lego Parts You Hate....

(...) These are nice for single color steam domes. I never liked the notched edges on 2x2 round brick. (...) My initial reaction to this part was of a similar vein, but I recently built a large retainer wall, using mostly 1xNx5 and 2xNx1 bricks. And (...)
