Just as another data point, I dont agree -- I read it cover-to-cover and
while I did know some of the content already, much of it was new, and it
was all enjoyable reading.

Thanks, Joe!
One of the challenges BrickJournal faces is trying to stay timely, given
that I am making this quarterly. Because of the lengthy period between
issues and the nature of the typical AFOL (wanting to find out things that
are generally meant to be secret), BrickJournal is at a disadvantage in
trying to get news scoops, and I have an expectation of some old information
coming out...I just want it presented in a nice professional manner.

You do have the advantage of an inside line to the company though. Those are
the bits I found most interesting. Stuff on the development of themes and
models would be fascinating.
|
Its funny that you mention that, because there will be some upcoming articles
from LEGO staffers...

|
BrickJournal is perfect to be a more thorough place of information and
reference for the AFOL. Imagine having a book that would be at your desk
that would have info on a building method. Or a mag to show to a friend
about the hobby....thats the mag I wanted, and I sorta did it with the help
of a lot of friends! Joe ed./pub, BrickJournal

That would be super. The stuff on actual building was great. The bricks for
thought snippets were a nice touch.
|
There will be some more instructions this issue..and some more Bricks for
Thought!

I didnt want to come over as negative. Like I said I enjoyed it muchly.
Thanks for clarifying the direction youre heading with it.
