Re: LDD question - how to rotate pieces?

(...) Jordan, Thanks. Don't know why I didn't try that key before. Thanks also for the keyboard shortcuts, I had found some, but the rest were helpful as well. The preferences window has a check box for 'Brick Count Show the number of bricks in a (...) (16 years ago, 3-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Re: LDD question - how to rotate pieces?

(...) Hi Dave, Use the arrow keys to rotate pieces. When you insert a new piece, I believe it always defaults to the same orientation. If you want to insert a bunch of identical bricks with a particular rotation, you can always insert the first one (...) (16 years ago, 2-Jun-08, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Brickworld Castle contest - Fling Things!

Hopefully stacks of four 2X4 bricks won't cause too much trouble. =-) Just to make sure we're all on the same page, the Distance part of the Fling Things Contest will be (...)   Re: Appraiser for collection

Here is my inventory situation: I have bought most of my sets on sale or clearance. I had a Bricklink store as well as selling on eBay. The sets I bought on clearance, then resold for profit, was intended to "finance" the pieces for MOC and the sets (...) (16 years ago, 22-May-08, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) Not a bad idea. Which I tried. It reported that two bricks were not available. But there are plenty of others that are in LDD but unavailable for sale now in pick-a-brick. I did find another method, a process of elimination. I used the select (...) (16 years ago, 25-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

Pythagoras and his triangles and building

Hi all, If you are like me, you like to make things sturdy when you build them. One way to do this is to build cross links. Putting things at angles other than 90 degrees is helpful, but then you need to know some Pythagorean triples to do the (...) (16 years ago, 21-May-08, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Thanks! I actually stole the reflecting pool from a previous model of the Taj Mahal that I built three years ago. (...) Though my photography skills are lacking, I've improved over previous posts. The yellow effect is a result of a large (...) (16 years ago, 17-May-08, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LDD has new bricks.

(...) My brick version is now 38.17 but it warns that the model I have been working on contains parts that now can not be ordered. Is there any easy way to find out which bricks were discontinued? My model is quite complex, almost 6000 bricks, it (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Kerry, I remember you telling me the magnets were not that succesful in holding the Natasha together, so I would probably think that in future a different method would be used if a magnet was considered in any new creation. As has been (...) (16 years ago, 18-May-08, to lugnet.loc.au)

I can’t think of anyone else who has as many posts and responses on the LUGNET forums (possibly over 2,000 posts and responses.) His LDRAW models and POV-RAY (...)   Brickworld Collaborative Display: LEGO Mansion Project

There's only about 5 weeks left 'til Brickworld '08!   Re: Appraiser for collection

  Re: Appraiser for collection

(...) Some very good observations and points. A set only has a value if someone wants to buy it. To sell a substantial collection at one time would probably be impossible. If the collection is large, few people would have the money at one time to (...) (16 years ago, 14-May-08, to lugnet.market.appraisal)

  How do I...? 3 questions about POV-Ray.
