| | Re: Where do the old models go when they die?
| (...) Clearly a troll, but I'm on vacation, so here goes. There is no model afterlife. A model exists for only as long as forces external to it, which it cannot control, suffer it to. Once disassembled it exists only in the memory of those that (...) (26 years ago, 21-Dec-98, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

| | Re: Qui-Gon character translated to minifig...

| (...) Brown Ponytail hairpieces can be found in some sets, including the current Town Minifig pack. Also, Men tend to wear ponytails slightly differently than the Current Lego ponytail. Men usually tie their hair at the base of the skull, while the (...) (26 years ago, 1-Feb-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Vader minifig has head under helmet- confirmed!
| Over on TheForce.net's collecting page ((URL) is a report posted that the Darth Vader minifig indeed has a regular Lego head under the helmet. Of course, from the description, it could just be the generic "mummy" head. We need a real Lego fan to get (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| | Re: Minifig tools are Technic fig scale
| (...) Think, think, think.... A-HA! I get it. I was hung-up on your term "suspenders". You mean the large Technic springs (or as I would call them, shock absorbers). I used a 4595.dat Brick 1 x 2 x 2/3 with Studs on Sides between them so each (...) (26 years ago, 9-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

| | Odd request ...
| I am in need of one complete Timmy, as well as an extra skeleton head and two minifig hands in white. I have decided that the Adventurers need to 'discover' Timmy's unlamented remains in a dustry remote temple. Can anyone help me realize my vision? (...) | | New web page
| I've put up a web page as an experiment in digital publishing - not stunningly impressive, but I think it's worth a look. Mostly medieval-themed models on minifig scale, a few other things, including rules for Lego(r) wars. Having put it together, I (...) (26 years ago, 28-Dec-98, to lugnet.announce)

| | Qui-Gon character translated to minifig...
| Well, most of you have seen Qui-Gon (Liam Neeson's character) on the different Star Wars Prequel Web sites and in various magazines. My question is this, while it's hard enough to imagine how LEGO will create minifig versions of classic characters (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.starwars)
