will let it "swivel" around, due to the lack of a cross axle hole.  So I
wonder what you do to avoid this effect.


Think, think, think.... A-HA!  I get it.  I was hung-up on your term
"suspenders".  You mean the large Technic springs (or as I would call them,
shock absorbers).
I used a 4595.dat Brick 1 x 2 x 2/3 with Studs on Sides between them so each
"suspender" hole fit over a side stud on that part.  So the stud in the hole
holds it quite tightly.

If you have ldraw/ldlite installed, I have posted a dat file in lugnet.cad.dat
that shows the construction - minus the 'suspenders' which still are not
available yet.

(...) Duh, yes. Sorry for the confusion. Shock absorber seems like a much better term. (...) I see. Personally, I don't like so much to put studs into axle holes, as I feel that the studs are a little bit too wide, and may thus cause wear in the (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)
