OVERALL

I think this is a great set.  It has some nice features I wasn't expecting and
it has brown pieces (gotta love 'em!).  It has some features that the Bi-wing
Baron was lacking: a control stick, a small storage compartment, and clips to
hold items.  The construction is quite solid unless abused (dropped on the
ground, for example).  Overall, it can only enhance your Adventurers
collection.

----

DETAILS

  Positives
It has brown pieces.  Need I say more?  ;)  One of the big positives, in my
opinion, is the single control stick which adds a bit of realism to the design.
Right behind the pilot the covering can be removed, revealing a small area to
store tiny objects (a pistol or a ruby, for example).  It also has two clips,
so the plane can carry larger tools that don't fit in storage.  The brown
pieces it comes with are: 4 1x3 inverted 25 degree slopes, 1 2x3 inverted 25
degree slope, 2 1x2 45 degree slopes, 2 1x2 panels, 1 tail fin (?), and 1 4x4
5-sloped wedge.

  Negatives
I only have minor complaints about this model.  The top wings aren't truly
connected to the main body, and the pilot sits too high.  Other than those two,
I'm happy with this model.

  Extras
This set came with 1 extra trans-red 1x1 cylinder plate.

  Equipment
The Pontoon Plane comes with a pistol, a dynamite tile, a shovel, a pickaxe,
and a pair of binoculars for Harry Cain to use on his expeditions to the
Amazon.

  Playability
Very Good.  This set is quite versatile, especially with its storage ability.
It is a great addition to the Adventurers line-up.

----

CONCLUSION

This is one of the best small sets I've purchased in a while.  It's a lot of
fun to play with, and it is an excellent addition to an Amazon Expedition.
Even for those whoe don't collect the Adventurers, it may be worth buying for
the good pieces it comes with.
