| | Re: Scale
| (...) Minifigs have an exaggerated scale compared to the avergage human. However, the generally accepted 'standard' for minifig scale is usually stated as 1 stud= 1 foot, or 1:38.1. Personally, I think guaging a scale of the figure is a mistake in (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

| | Re: Part search
| (...) By "partial description" I was thinking more on the lines of just bringing up any and all "2x2" parts. Anyways, I'm not sure being able to sort by full description is all that helpful. You've got "_Animal" vs "Animal", "_TECHNIC" vs "TECHNIC", (...) (20 years ago, 22-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

| | Re: New LEGO displays at TRU
| (...) Yes, I've noticed these kind of "aquarium cases" as well.. Very attractive; I like how they've incorporated the LEGO studs into the design. I'm thinking of reproducing one of them in *cough* wood. It would be a neat way to display built (...) (20 years ago, 21-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

| | Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag
| (...) Well, Batman is a DC character, so a LEGO/Marvel license wouldn't give them any rights to Batman or Superman et al. However, Minimates does have both a DC and Marvel license (among many others). Is it possible that the figure you saw wasn't (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
