Theyre good for making minifigs from faceless corporations (especially the

Ooh, that brings up an even better idea. The black ones could be used as part
of a Star Wars: The Magic of Myth tour, where various notable outfits were
placed on near-black manaquins. The trickiest one to reproduce, of course,
would be the Slave Leia outfit, since youd either have to paint the yellow
portions of the legs and torso black, or youd have to produce stickers based on
the original torso that could be applied to a black torso. Many of the minifigs
could be placed as they come (Ewok, Chewie, R2/3PO, Vader, Stormie, Greedo, Boba
Fett, Gamorrean guard, etc, TIE pilot, Yoda), but many others would require just
getting black hands and head (X-Wing pilot, Echo Base trooper, Emperor, Ben,
etc.). The other tricky one would be Han, who is dressed like the 3-pack
version (but with a closed collar), and is wearing leather gloves (have they
made any minifig hands in dark-orange or earth-orange?). The TESB Lando outfit
and Leias Bespin dress are both displayed sans hands and heads, based on the
photos in the SW:TMoM companion book. And of course, there are a few Jabba
goons and Landos skiff guard disguise that would require custom parts or a
liberal dose of imagination to be included.
