Yes, I've noticed these kind of "aquarium cases" as well.. Very attractive; I
like how they've incorporated the LEGO studs into the design. I'm thinking of
reproducing one of them in *cough* wood. It would be a neat way to display built
models.
I also like the "maxi" minfigs I've seen in the display - they're maybe about a
foot tall and look like they are assembled out of bent diecut plastic or paper
(?). Probably old hat to you guys, but I thought they were kinda neat. I
remember seeing larger, more substantial minifig sculptures (maybe 4' tall, made
of ?) in pictures of a store display in Japan. Anyone collect these kind of
promo pieces?
The other day I was in TRU and spotted the LEGO rep in the store - unfortunately
I missed my chance to talk to her to get more info. If Gary Istok is reading
this, any of this sales ephemera detailed in your book/CD?
