But if you live in the US, the UK, NO, NZ, Germany or Australia, I can clear your payment for you, (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.auction)

| | Re: removable stickers?
|
| (...) No, it's made from a bunch of little bricks. <bah dump-bump> Sorry but I could not resist. Actually, in the MR hobby, dry transfer lettering is used a lot as well if there are no ready made decals available. Sounds like Robin is talking about (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: Lego Loco Postcard Penpals?

| (...) I thought these were random, you launch a postcard and another postcard kicking around out there somewhere comes back. No control over who it goes to or whose you get back. I have not yet been able to get this to work... but I was dialed in (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

| | Re: Is March LEGOFEST kaput?
|
| I'll be in Carlsbad from the afternoon of the 19th on, and would love to fest or just meet with anyone there. We're staying at the Grand Pacific Palisades resort which is right across from LegoLand, supposedly. What, if anything is still going on? (...) | (...) Hey, even though I was a transient (although I DID leave some bricks behind) I miss you guys. The MN group I'm hanging with is pretty cool though, and BOY do they have a lot of bricks. Plus there's the LIC at Mall of America. Hope to see you (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.us.co.den)

| | Which airport is best?... an RTL Repost
|
| I just got a note from someone who remembered the comparision I did on RTL between the three airports, and I decided to repost it here in .reviews where it might be easier to find. Here's a Dejanews reference if you want to see the thread in (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.reviews)

| To all, hopefully no one is **trying** to get "onto" me. :-) Sorry if people are getting bounces, though! I dunno what's up. I will watch my voyager account more closely as well. Harro, I got a note from you on Thursday, just haven't replied yet. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-99, to lugnet.general)

| I can't get hats in time at this point but I am going to have some made... cost will be under 20. If you really really want a hat at LegoLand I can get one made at MoA but it will be over 30... | | Re: economics of set 3225
|
| It's not a caboose. A caboose has a cupola or a bay window, or at least, a work area for the conductor. It's not a pullman. A pullman has beds, washrooms, a porter's office, etc. It's a coach. It's really pretty simple to remember coach, I think. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Yes, and welcome to the debate, even if you've come a bit late. Been thrashed around a bit already. I'd probably have let it slide if you hadn't introduced "Pullman" (1) TLG is wrong. A thing is what it is, not what someone claims it is. This (...) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)
