  Re: LEGO does Disneyland?

(...) counts... It was building Cindy's castle that reactiveated me and it took a lot more than 463 pieces. :-) Whoever did them has gotten just the right blend of elements in the packaging though... pretty nifty. (...) I'm sorry, I wasn't precise enough. What I was suggesting was something a bit more "nuanced" than a straight rollover. (which I have requested in the past) Rather than just requesting a rollover no matter what, my next entry will carry a note (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Polls as propaganda devices.

Let me preface this by saying that the polling mechanism just introduced, while it has some bumps (some of which have already been fixed, like the ability to keep a poll result anonymous, e.g. the CLSotW poll results are now anonymous so everyone go (...)   Re: eating bees more popular than originally expected?

(...) During poll construction, it may have been helpful to put "don't answer this if you aren't a reader of loc.ca.on.ott" into the title to prevent outsiders from thinking their vote was desired... Either that or seek an enhancement to leave (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

eating bees more popular than originally expected?

From this poll: (URL) the person who eats bees. 5 (38%) Yet the original poll ((URL) had: bees 2 Do we have some mystery bee eaters out there???? Inquiring minds want to know. PS I did not answer Shiri's poll because it lacked megaphone as a part (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

  Re: New Polling Mechanism Available

(...) You can do that in FTX? I'd love to tell an embedded thing that it has to stay within 40% of the page width. Do I have control (on the front page of a group) over how the posts on the right are laid out??? I didn't think so. (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.curators)
