Apologies if this double-posts, Yahoo is in a mood. I solved your problem by purchasing the lightest laptop I could find, a Sony ultralight (PGC 161L, $800 on ebay). (...) Yeah - but you can add more axles and more wheels so that the load is shared across more axles. Very good. The operation is just exactly like LIONEL switch points! The power for the switch point motor must be routed through the metal center rails - coming from the transformer. (...) FYI: The first LEGO pneumatics system had single ported pistons. Also the only difference between pump and piston was that the pump had return springs. Hey all, About 2 months ago now I was challenged/ asked to make a double crossover. While I thought this project would be difficult I had no idea how long it would take me.
