Hi all,
I feel kind of cheeky, posting to the thread without a word on the mecha itself.

It has an awesome look about it - and I realy have a thing for tripods
- this one really does live up to the image. Its interesting having
real stats as well for it. I am a little unsure about the colour
scheme - it works, but I would also love to see this in military greys
as well.

The biggest acheivement is the almost radial symmetry you have on the
build - that is fairly  awkward to do. If you dont mind me asking, how
fragile has it turned out to be- around that center join- the image E
pulled out? I definately like the intimidating stance it acheives with
its weapons out. Are the weapon pods detachable (for losses during
play) then? I love the idea of mecha wargaming with Lego - I once
worked with a mech based RPG system for a computer game - difficult
stuff.

Btw - interesting uplighting there E. I am intrigued.

Not a problem, E,
I know how hard it can be to pull yourself way from a project when the
creative
juices are flowing! It's like pulling teeth sometimes.

The treds, the imposing look!
Judge me not, I'm gonna run away!

This pic of the <http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1500984
center structural component> looks so cool. I like stuff like that.

Thanks, on my later designs I'm trying to take pictures to explain how I
assembled the parts that I feel were not easy to figure out how they go
together. If you noticed, the center structural component differs from the one
I
used in the T.A.U. For the Tribunal I went with a triangle inside of a
triangle
approach. I felt it was needed since the Tribunal is physically much heavier
than the T.A.U. and needed to be stronger.

The colors are interesting.
I really like that slick control set up for the pilot with the hinged
control
pannels. Nice.

I'm trying to give my cockpits a little more attention as of late rather than
making them "Plain Jane"

Wow. Thanks for sharring!

e

Glad you liked it, E!

P.S. I don't think I'm done playing with triangles yet!
