Re: Lego Direct (was Re: Georgia LEGO Outlet is Cool!)

(...) I am offended by the language used (though I consider calling people asses much more offensive than telling someone to piss off). I'm also offended by the opinions expressed, however, while I can expect Todd to do something about the words (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) I agree that people shouldn't partake in name-calling etc, but to be fair - in the context of the (heated) debate, the name-calling was not just one-way. Which I was why I was more offended by the latter post - my opinion :) (...) Agreed too - (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) I'm not 'personally offended', but a weekly or bi-weekly update would be *great*, even if it's a "nothing new to report" most times. Richard (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

(...) Its not about missing the deal, or who got what. I have stated this several times. My comments were about TLC policies or lack thereof and giving fans equal access to out of production stock. That's it. If you think this is about some (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) How is there any favoritism on the part of S@H? Anyone can call S@H herself at 7 am on Monday if she really wants to know what the specials are before Tom posts them to LUGNET. It probably takes more time to update the site than it does to (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

(...) Well, in a lot of ways there could never be a consensus on this issue. You're looking at two sides that are completely unlike each other. One side is content to let market forces continue to work while the other seems to want to ignore those (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.admin.general) !

(...) S@H has at no time showed any favoritism other than "first come, first served". Why are you bringing them into this? (...) I think you're confusing S@H with the Outlet Stores. They are not the same thing at all. (...) Again, *what* favoritism? (...) (25 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Pssst.. I think you are being too defensive Richard, James is one of the most fair and level people on LUGNET - if you reread his post, I think you'll see that he was trying to help you by asking for you to explain yourself further.
