Hi everybody, When the one end of the RJ11 cable plug into the RJ12 side entry(J10), it supposed the red LED on the charger board will light up. However, it failed to light up. what i am doing is building a battery charger for back-up batteries to be used with the handyboard, so i don't have to wait for the batteries to charge. can i use the schematic that i found in the handy board technical reference manual except (...) Not sure where this should end up, so I'll start here and FUT to .General I'm looking for pictures of wheel/tire replacement for heavy equipment in the field.   An extra RCX anyone?
 
I'm just curious if any of you guys are willing to sell an RCX to a poor soul in need? A friend of mine from Newfoundland wants to get on the whole Mindstorms hype, but apparently there is a shortage of RIS's and Lego in general over there. He's (...) I'm giving a presentation about Mindstorms on Wednesday. I have a slide near the end that talks about all the stuff I know people want to see added. Hi! I'm still can't get the chip to go into bootstrap mode. I've double checked I've got all the components installed in the correct direction, and inspected the entire board for shorts, and have found none! What can I do?? I'll try resoldering the (...)   Lost my IR Tower
 
Hi This is probably of no interest to anyone else but... When I bought my Mindstorms (for US$15 in a charity shop) it was missing the IR Tower. I'd allotted myself an hour to build a Tower but I suspect the IR components I was using were the wrong (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) The one used for the RCX may be, but the NXT power supply is sold as a different item, and is listed as a 10VAC adapter vs. the 9VAC adapters used by trains and various other systems. There are two different versions of the RCX. Unfortunately, they are both labeled "RCX 1.0". The one that comes with the Robotics Invention System 1.0 has a power adapter input and the one that comes with RIS 1.5 does not. It is possible to use (...)
