Why do the Cargo train and the Hi-Speed train say they need batteries?
Anyone know?  I can't remember Lego trainsets ever needing batteries.

Hi Stefan,

that is really amazing. The German translation tells the same: batteries are
needed, but not included. Have they mixed up batteries with the speed
regulator? Or mixed up 9V trains with the description of duplo trains?

I cannot imagine that these two sets need batteries. For 9V train set series
there have never been any with powereds by battery. Of course the blue and grey
era 4.5V sets used batteries, but that is part of Lego train history only.

Leg Godt!

That is really wierd.  I think it was an early mistake while putting it on their
web site.  As far as I can see, it looks like the mistake(s) are cleared
up (my country is set to Canada, and my language is set to English).

I like the price on the Cargo Crane.  I thought they might try to jack up the
price like they did to the 4514 Cargo Crane. It is actually somewhat affordable
at 19.99 US.

The 4512 is somewhat more pricey than trains that came out earlier
(4563,4564, etc), but it does come with a switch track (MSRP ~ $13 US).

I also hope that they decide to offer expansion cars for the 4511.
Even if you buy 2 cars (so you can get an ICE-3 look), you still need
at least 2 more passenger cars to make it worth while.

Thanks/Danke,

Ben
