American intelligentsia and the American electorate (WAS Re: slight)

(...) I admit it, I was not impressed with the implied link between rationality, "success", religion and creationism. However, over the weekend I read an item by Richard Dawkins from "Free Inquiry" (see: www.secularhumanism.org). This is the part (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Thanks. I'm always a little worried that crowd scenes will just look like a big muddle. (...) I've had the most fun with lighting effects in underground scenes (e.g. Moria). On the ceiling, I was trying hard to not get a square boxy effect. (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hi Mark, Thanks for summarizing your concerns! I got thru most of the old thread and it started to hurt my head! :) Since most of these decisions where made by many people I'll use the word we. But please everyone don't misunderstand that "we" (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events)

(...) That's a good question. I'm sure there might be some moral quandry with how I seeded my links page -- I stole the URLs and descriptions from Kyle Keppler's links page! (erm, thanks Kyle? :-) There seems to be a kind of standard link button (...) (22 years ago, 22-Aug-02, to lugnet.publish)

  12' Long Maersk Ship?!?!

  Moonbase & 32x32 landing pads

As the size of the moonbase continues to increase it would seem to require support from larger spacecraft than those which would be accomodated by the "moon's surface"(48x48 plates). I wouldn't think there would be stripes painted on the surface:) (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Even more so, adding a link below each entry which says "Report this entry as a stolen photograph" may deter kids who are doing this. Are there ramifications for such action, like restricted access for offenders in future contests?? -Tim (22 years ago, 6-Sep-02, to lugnet.lego.direct)
