Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update 08/17/01

(...) "One express elevator to he--, going down! Wooo...ooo!!!!!!" when he's released from the carrier? A fun concept. I love the design of the mech head (nice jackhammers there). In general the mech looks very parts efficient, nothing more than it (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Question regarding train motors and regulators

I am looking forward to receiving my Metroliner and club cars but am still new to trains. Since I have two of the Railway Express sets (which are only good for parts as far as I'm concerned), I have both extra speed regualtors and motors that I can (...)   Re: . market for HTML?

(...) In what way would the use of HTML help either the buyers or the sellers? You can readily put links in straight text, and browser-based newsreaders will notice them and allow direct clicking on them. Opening up any group to HTML only opens them (...)   Re: german promo sets 2964 & 2234

(...) No need to apologize -- I think an announcement of this type fits A-OK into lugnet.general (rather than only to the market groups) because your message was 95% announcement and commentary, and only 5% market-oriented. The only thing I would (...) (26 years ago, 19-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: read/not read quirk on web interface?

(...) This is correct. The group listing ignores cross-posting x-refs. So if something is crossposted, it'll show up as two different articles in the web interface. But the thread view -is- smart enough to see cross-posting and only lists the (...) (26 years ago, 18-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Should RTL be hosted on this server?

(...) Hey, I'M the topic police. No, seriously -- if a thread is getting out of hand and off-topic, a gentle reminder, or several, with followup-to set, should be sufficient. I don't see a need to retroactively relocate articles. (26 years ago, 30-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

  Lego Trains

Thanks for your help and input on buying Lego Trains! There aren't any right now at Sears (at least that I saw) but I will keep trying, both online and the outlet stores.
