(...) I'm going to disagree with John2 here - there is a time when multiple speed regulators would be handy: If your layout gets to be so large that you're getting a voltage drop on the far side of the layout. The GMLTC is starting to get see (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)

  GMLTC at GATS this weekend

Just in case anyone hasn't heard, the GMLTC (Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club) will be exhibiting its layout at the GATS show in St. Paul this weekend. It's at the River Centre in downtown St. Paul on Sat. and Sun. from 11-5 each day. Admission is $6 (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

Is it down? I've been trying to bounce over there, on and off, since late last week, and I keep getting timed out with "no connection to the server could be established" James (URL) (25 years ago, 15-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

I'm unclear what a "module" includes. Are you talking about just a wood table or are you including the bricks that are part of the top of the GMLTC layout? I am talking about the entire module system, including the huge chunk of 2x4 and bricks covering a 96x144 area stacked 20 bricks high. I'm stunned! Our (GMLTC) layout is the hit of the GATS every year (we have the ribbons to prove it). They should be begging y'all to show at their crummy exhibit.
