  Re: height standards... ?

(...) other things!) - build whatever looks good and runs well. If it looks too short, add some height. If it tips over in the corners or hits something over the track, it's too tall! Modelling real world trains in 'L-Gauge' is all about two words: (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Brickworld Pick-a-Brick quality

/pokes head into .events, looks around... A couple weeks ago I sorted out the cardboard box of Pick-a-Brick I purchased from the Northfield Lego store at the special Brickworld event on Friday night. As I was sorting, I found a half-dozen 1x1 (...) (16 years ago, 15-Aug-08, to lugnet.events)

Re: Do you mention Lego in interviews?

I've spent a morning at the model shop in Enfield, at the time they were building several hundred (several thousand?) copies of 'toucan sam' for a breakfast cereal (...)   Re: Get a glimpse of Legoland Missouri plan

It's a great town, lots of golf courses, the best BBQ in the known universe (in my opinion!), and some crazy fanatical baseball and football fans. I really enjoyed living (...)   Re: New colors and other info

How many of us remember when there were only 10 or 12 colors produced? I sure (...) (21 years ago, 18-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) As usual, we're set up in a great location right inside the main museum entrance. But this time, we've got a LOT of competition for kid's attention! Crowds were busy but not unmanagable, a lot like a normal train show for us. But they're (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains.org)
