  Re: IC on Tcomp?

Good question. In principle, the answer is yes. The base requirements for running IC are the 6811, 32K ram, and a serial port. In practice, no one has modified the pcode for a "generic" system configuration. One tricky part would be disabling the (...) (28 years ago, 17-Sep-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Assembly language and the handyboard

It's really not too hard to use, and allows users to create assembly language programs that are callable from IC using the C (...) (28 years ago, 27-Oct-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Downloading problems

The memory circuit is probably flaky, or, you zapped a 6811 address line output. If you haven't already tried, swap the 6811 with a known good one. If that doesn't work, examine the ram chip addr, data bus, and select signals with a logic probe when (...) (28 years ago, 5-Feb-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

In my opinion, the LUGNET rules for passwords are the most restrictive that I have ever encountered (including password selection for classified military computer systems).   Re: Motor control

(...) Yes, and speed control is built in to the Interactive C motor function. motor(0, 100) turns on motor 0 at full speed; motor(0, 50) is half speed, etc. While we're on the topic, I am considering changing the speed argument, because in actuality (...) A re-write of the system PWM routines could provide finer than 8 levels of control, even w/o needing HW timer lines. (...) (...) (28 years ago, 10-Jul-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: download problems

The motor state is insignificant before the board has booted. I.e., the fact the motors are on the red direction means nothing; it's just the random state of the motor output latch when the board turns on without a program. The LCD screen should not (...)
