  Re: My first mecha: Proto-1

Hi Mo, Nice mecha. The bubble head thing is very retro sci-fi, yet the body style is quite modern mecha. Its an odd mix. It puts me in mind of robbie spliced with an angular anime mecha body. I really like the body style, very posable, and well (...) (19 years ago, 22-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

What's the worst Lego-related thing you've ever done?

Hey all, The recent, yet not-too-terribly-surprising, Lego-related law-breakin' news got me to thinking. What's the worst thing you've ever done in a Lego-related way? I'm not talking about modding the brick or fanning flame wars (or starting them), (...) (19 years ago, 19-Nov-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: My first mecha: Proto-1

(...) Wow, for a first mecha this is excellent! I think you go the basics of mecha building down pretty solid, the next thing you should work on is giving them a certain "feel" or personality. For example, I don't know whether this is a whacky (...) (19 years ago, 20-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Alien delegation

(...) Thank you Mr. Thorne! I kept a lot of minifig bodies because it's not so easy to come with a complete body made of bricks, that will be small enough to fit a minifig size. I'll try though. Cheers, JP. (19 years ago, 10-Nov-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Greetings... I apologize if this is old news. (I've been offline as some of you know and actually knew little about this theme prior to this week.) But a very quick search of the topic turned up little, so I felt it worth posting... Last Friday I (...) (19 years ago, 16-Nov-05, to lugnet.castle)

Keeping the castle, selling the rest! 200+ pounds of LEGO! Chicago

I've over done it once again. Overwhelmed with Lego, everything but the castle is going. We're keeping that and a few figures but there is probably 200+ pounds of assorted Lego and hundreds of minifigs getting ready to join someone elses collection. (...) Hello All: This is my first post to the newsgroups. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to cross-post to other groups; let me know if that is discouraged. I've started working on a minifig-scale model of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. I've got a (...) (19 years ago, 14-Nov-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) I like these -- they're whimsical. Mr.Rignault has made good use of the Lever Base, 1x1 Plate With Tooth, etc. to depict bulbous eyes, noses, beaks, protruding tongues, moustaches, feelers and eyebrows.
