Hi Mo,
Nice mecha. The bubble head thing is very retro sci-fi, yet the body
style is quite modern mecha. Its an odd mix.
It puts me in mind of robbie spliced with an angular anime mecha body.
I really like the body style, very posable, and well proportioned.
Where did you manage to find transparent macaroni bricks?
The hands and thumb work well, and I like the way the feet appear to turn in.
A great first effort. I am looking forward to seeing other stuff you do.
Has anyone done any full on retro style (robbie or otherwise) robots?
It could be interesting getting the rounded bobbly style. I find
myself thinking of an arm made up of ballon tyres on axles, or minifig
heads (although that would be too weak)...
