The proportions are a bit off to me. You have those cluncky feet which
look really good (you used a black rounded 2x3 on the right and a inverted
slope on the left - brick availability?)

Whoops! Well - the back of the left foot has the rounded 2x3 and the back of
the right foot has the slope... Both feet are supposed to have the round
brick at the front and the slope at the back. When I was making it, it fell
off the table and the worst casualty was one of the feet - I obviously put
it back together wrong! I can't believe I didn't notice! Oh well.

But those feet are to massive compared to the
rest of your mech. Especially the arms look long and weak. You could try
to cover the click hinge at the elbow a bit more and give the arms more
volume.

I wanted the arms to be thin, but yes, I also wanted to cover up the elbows
more. Everything I tried either looked pants or made them too thick. So I
left it. I don't think I'm patient enough to rebuild more than a couple of
times - especially as this mecha is really just a 'practice run' (probably
the first of many such!).
As for proportions being out - well, as I mentioned, I was after a 'thinner'
top half, but perhaps I shouldn't have used those wedges on the shins...

Thanks for your feedback!

(...) Welcome to .mecha Matthew. (...) Quite impressive for a first one. I like the poseability. It seems to me you had real fun doing those poses for the pics. (...) I'm not bothered by the color scheme. The colores fit together quite well. The (...) (19 years ago, 19-Nov-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
