  Re: Keeping things in perspective

(...) I agree. Todd is being a little morbid. I have a lot of good friends I have lost touch with (esp during my student days), I do not think of any of them as being "dead". Further, whilst I know a great deal of people online few of them really (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: 20 Years of TLC's Frustration with "LEGOS"

(...) Yes and no. Cf. the Dead. They made space down front for people who were recording their shows and actively encouraged a very active marketplace in "bootleg" tapes. Which had significant value because every one of their shows were different, (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Emergency - Half Dead Robot

Welp, I've fixed the problem. Apparently the inductor at L1 has burnt out. I have no idea how could this have happened beside wear and tear (although the board was pretty new). As others have suggested, replacing the motor chips (starting with U8 (...) (24 years ago, 24-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Calling it Quits

(...) Yea, and racial and ethnic jokes are funny too... I'm not saying that we should eliminate humor and jokes (I'm not even truly convinced that all racial and ethnic jokes are absolutely bad).   Emergency - Half Dead Robot

Hi All, I powered on my handyboard the other day, and the next thing that happened was a click noise and some black smoke from the top left part of the HB (the F1, U13 area). I tried to repower it (after turning it off) and nothing happened. I (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Hyperion is complete

(...) G'day Kevin, I did pretty much a full tour, so maybe I can help out. Whenever you're in an elevator, there is a little panel in the middle. There are two tiny red buttons on the right of the panel. If you put your mouse there it will say "Up" (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

Query for interest in a new (space) game idea for Brickfest or whatever - Studded Death

I've been thinking about my growing interest in LEGO Space creations, and what a cool set of game rules Iron Crown's Silent Death is, and how it would be real cool to mix the two. Part of this idea also comes from the mixing of Silent Death rules (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.gaming)
