Re: Is the Palestinian Cause Dead? The Latest Terror Attacks

(...) Oh, come come now. If we're going to go with sound bites, let's at least use an accurate one, eh?... here's one miles and miles closer to the truth: "basically, the government of California tried to repeal the law of supply and demand, with (...)   My scattered thank-you's

...Still recovering... likely will be for some time. But I wanted to try and capture some of my favourite images of the fest. I know I will think of at least twice as many entries tomorrow, but I wanted to quickly fire off the first batch of things (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  My Thoughts on BrickFest 2002

Well, now that I'm feeling a little more rested (after spending a day at work struggling to stay awake), I thought I'd share my thoughts: - I really appreciated the airport pickup. Everything went smoothly (including watching TJ Avery hauling my big (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) I'm not sure I care who started it (1). What I do care about are the following points: - That we acknowledge that the Jewish people had cause to trust that no existing government would protect their rights. - That we acknowledge that the (...) I forget who it was who said ebay is the answer. I do not belive it is. Those models on ebay are great and I would not hesitate to buy them on ebay if I had the money. However there is a major part missing to all these sets. They have been done (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.technic)

  Thanks For A Wonderful Event!

I'd like to express my appreciation of WAMALUG all those involved with organizing and sponsoring Brickfest 2002. You made it a wonderful event, and have given me some great memories. The real worry at the moment is that no-brain greedy Texan clown that happens to run the show in Washington. For some strange reason american presidents feel they're president of the world. (...) I would have said "experience" rather than "bias"... After they dropped a bomb on a residential area on the last month, Ariel Sharon congratulated his forces on the strike and he described it as "a great success". That says it all.
