  Re: Pork chops anyone?

(...) And it certainly wouldn't help the cruel treatment of other animals which aren't bred for meat. I don't have any links, but I volunteered at the RSPCA (Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for several years, and have seen photos (...)   Re: NEXT SYDNEY MEET: the Fest formerly known as STUDS: 9

(...) If I recall correctly I volunteered to host the next one (number nine?). I've put some skates on and started but if anyone doesn't like the date/location/colour of Pete Callaway's shirt please reply and we'll see what alternatives are (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

The Most Ambitious Western Project To Date

Most people would probably think i'm crazy for this. Why would someone take a just about dead theme and spend all his time and energy on it. I'm not so sure. Call me crazy. Call me insane. Call me a genius. I'm going to write a lego western epic. (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.western)

Either you are trying to be funny, in which case you have failed because beating a dead horse isn't humorous; or you are serious, in which case you are astonishingly clueless and should refrain from speaking out on matters about which you know (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: some "mild" discrepancies in roll call....

(...) I think less. I can't remember the first time I posted on rtl, but it was like 94 or 95, because it was before first year of university. I was definetly reading alt.toys.lego on r-node.hub.org (which became IO.org, Toronto/Canada's first ISP) (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

The link to the left, in the left pane, that says "LEGO library for POV-Ray" is dead. Anyone know where the updated site/url is? Thx, Mike (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) To give you a general idea, here are the minutes for the last STUDS meeting; admittedly these are the unauthorised minutes as the minutes need to be formally ratified at the next meeting by a quorum of 3/4 of the membership present at the (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.loc.au)

Welcome to Wild West Brian! Most of us are interested in fresh Ideas, so we'd love to see anything you've got! The story sounds good. Can't wait to see it. Oh yeah, save those "just about dead" remarks for something like znap!(Grin) :} (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jul-01, to lugnet.western)

Even if it can sometimes avenge or even prevent crimes, the link between most kinds of writing and future events is too tenuous to generaly admit as (...)   Aaargh. L272 IC needed.

We've run into a little bit of a snag with Operation DCC. Mario has done up the TMW5 Booster board, but we're missing an IC for the decoder unit. It's the SGS Thompson L272, a dual power op amp in a DIP package. We need the L272M, the eight pin DIP (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
