  Future Legends?

A question that crossed my mind today: Of all the sets that are out now, what is most likely to be rereleased as a Lenged in ten or fifteen years? I vote for <set:7314 Recon Mech RP>. While I haven't got this set yet, it looks really cool and I've (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.general)

space legends and the SW licence

We all know that the SW licence means no new space sets for a while but does it also cover rereleases? Do we know one way or the other from TLC/Lego Direct? If not, how would one go about asking Brad about this? (23 years ago, 7-Aug-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  2 legends questions & a suggestion

1.how would licecncing affect re-issues? Would lego still be able to re-issue, say, the 377 shell gas station for example, even though lego had to licence the rights from shell to use the name? What about for example, the origonal town 1682 space (...) (23 years ago, 19-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Ah, so you are the person who got the last to be had. I went about in early 97, and got one of 3 of the OCTAN tank cars, and saw a half pack of 4.5V points at The Bay downtown, a monorail in the Eaton's Center (at the downstairs toy store, I (...) (...) I think you'll find little disagreement when I say you're not a typical twelve-year-old boy. In fact I think you have more in common with us AFOL's than with most kids your age. I challenge you: Show <set:497 Galaxy Explorer> and some more (...) (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.starwars)

Yep, here's my thoughts: I wouldn't get any of those space sets. Guess I'm just too old. I was lucky enough to be around 10 years old when the first space stuff was introduced.
