I *know* I'm storing more information than needed, but each node in the path only takes 2 bits? If those two bits encode the (...)   Re: New scenery MOCs - debuting as instructions

(...) Hi Jason, that is a really great model! I have one small question about the doors: I think you cannot close them till they reach the exact 90° angle, right? - How does the cell look like when built from LEGO bricks? Do you have any pictures at (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jul-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Moonbus!

Neat-o! I was checking this out last night on Brickshelf. (heading over to Zemi.net) I was thinking, if there was a nifty compact way to add a polarity reversor x2, (with spring or rubber band) so when the bus hit a dead end, it could automatically (...)   New technique: three position piston control

Years ago when I first started playing with pneumatics, I first learned that I could control a piston using a switch. I then learned that you could mechanically link a piston and a switch, and have piston controll the switch. I learned from Eric (...) (...) Hi Tim, yes, you (and Thomas) are obviously right! I agree on your conclusions: there is an extra section of ca. 8studs length added into the track in the area of the level crossing (which itself has an span of 16studs). If 16 studs are in top (...)
