  Flat Car
 
Hi, Since long ago, I feel the need of flat cars for my train collection. Flat cars are the simpliest cars and that is part of the challenge when you decide to have a try in modeling one (LEGOly speaking) : how to make a nice rail car made only of a (...)   Adventurers 5911-5914 at Zany Brainy.
 
I went to the Zany Brainy store in Montclair CA looking for the Chrome Castle sets [not there:o(] and found that they had a cardboard retail stand up display including all of the mini-Adventurers sets 5911, 5912, 5913 and 5914.   Northwest Artifact wins Best of Show at NWBrickCon 2006
 
Here are a few pics of my Northwest Artifact (Totem Pole). It is 6 feet tall, has a 7-1/2 foot wingspan and uses about 20,000 bricks and plates.   Two FLL NXT sets for sale
 
This doesn't seem to be posting. Apologies if it posts twice. I have two FLL NXT robot kits for sale. They originally cost $280/set. Nope: I would use the drying technique LAST to polish the brick up. You have to scrub it first. I haven't attempted to do the tops (just the sides which are easier and typically the only part that shows - unless you are using a plate). Then, when (...) I've not tried it, but it works well removing the graphics off other blocks (including delicate clear ones). Since minifigs are made out of the same plastic with the same type of graphics, I would guess that it would work fine there as well. Chris (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Is there anybody in America due to visit LEGOLAND California soon. I’m replicating and building for my pleasure the Bust Sculptures of famous people that can be seen at the LEGOLAND parks. K, I like Steve's idea--I was going for the 24 by 24 with the 18+ battery boxes, but to keep things reasonable, the 12 x 12 is a perfectly good restriction 3-5 pounds? that's tough 'cause I remember building my tug o' war 'bot and trying to (...) Brad, let me get this straight. You're saying it's better to put a coat of brasso on, let it dry, then wipe it off the brick? That takes out the discoloration faster? What would you use for the tops of the bricks to get in between the stubs? (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
