|
| Hi there I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how to safely remove masking tape and packing tape from old lego boxes? I seem able to remove the tape without tearing but am left with a layer of extreamly sticky stuff - anyone got any (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.storage)

One of the reasons why I haven't used bricklink is that I am pretty sure that if I do, I'll become hooked. I have browsed around and seen loads of (...) | | Re: Technic, what happened to the good old days?
|
| (...) I agree. A space themed technic based line could really showcase some cool stuctural building techniques and could be tied in with lego system quite nicely. These should be completely new and not limited to designs in a movie franchise. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.dear-lego)

| (...) Agreed. One part I'd love to see is a "cap" piece that fits over the "top" end of pneumatic cylinders, with pins on each side, so they can be attached at that end as well as the bottom. Or alternatively (possibly better) a new cylinder with (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic)

| Hi all me again. Just found some amazing part designs on brickshelf. (URL) would be so awsome if these were put into production. Kudos to whoever designed them. The modern sets are good but they would be so much better with new functional parts like (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic)

| (...) You are most welcome! The 1xN bricks without posts were around until around 1968, which is pretty late. There are a lot of late 1960's sets that have a mixture of pieces with and without posts, some are Cellulose Acetate, and some are ABS. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.general)

| (...) I think it's a K3 (small size), but will have to check when I get home. The stores in Chicago have been doing this for at least a year and a half now, but I'm not sure when it started, since it's usually a 4 hour drive for me to get up there. (...) But I didn't think to ask, and the real reason: it's much easier to sell my wife the concept of one or two PaB cups at a time rather than a (...) The Portland store also has the dark red 1x4 tiles, I've been a frequent customer and am just finishing up a MOC with 98% PaB ((URL) - this'll likely go into a display case at the store for a few weeks once it's done).
