Nate Welcome aboard.. To complete your membership please send a check for 1000 dollars US and all your lego to me and we should be all set. I charge the group discount prices to rent back their lego.   Re: The Beeesh

(...) Eric, woof. This has memories of Gomgile for me. Head shape, color, fingers. Beeesh has a much slimmer figure though. Has Gomgile been working out? Dude right on with the eyes. Coooool. Fingers seem a little strange on Beeesh, otherworldly but (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: How do you guys do it?

(...) Dave, As someone who is slowly getting back into building, the biggest turning point in getting back on the horse was sorting my collection. It was less than 40k pieces at the time, and it took a while, but here are the benefits: - In "dustin' (...) (21 years ago, 29-Dec-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Introducing LEGO Direct

(...) Well I am not going to light you up at all because I agree with most of what you say. I actually think that other than a few slight differences our views on this subject are very similar. I agree that LEGO is not sought out by girls. I really (...) (25 years ago, 13-Dec-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Community Policing is a Good Thing(TM) (Was: Re: Do you think there is a market)

(...) I tried to find a good place farther down the thread to tack this on, but I couldn't; it's wandered too far from the point here. Tim's point (and Larry's point, and Frank's point, and Dan's point, and several other people's point) is that (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Another Turtle Creek MOC (the mine building)

(...) This thing went together really quickly, at least by my standards. What made it even more interesting was the fact that we basically built it upside-down, starting with the tallest tower and building toward what would be the ground. It did (...)   RE: Something else is needed, I think...

(...) If we are going to the trouble of new bytecode, then we need a new compiler. If we design a new compiler, then what language will it be? Yes, we could use C as the base and compile to pcode which is essentially what NQC does if I'm not (...) (25 years ago, 3-May-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Bring me the head of Timmy the Stable Boy!

Odd as it may seem, I only have a single Timmy. And he's not even really a Timmy, because he doesn't have the big "T" on his torso - he's from a Freestyle bucket, I think. Currently, he's spending time as the fresh-faced cabin boy aboard the Red (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: SCORE!

Hi Bianca, I doubt that I would have any problem with a dog wandering during our meeting, as long as he was reasonably well-behaved, and didn't enjoy eating Lego. I have a 110 pound dog myself, and enjoy having dogs around quite a bit. Other people (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug)

got usb tower working at quad speed under linux
