| | Re: Talk me into Bley at BrickFest
|
| (...) Folks-- I don't think "bley" itself was the problem. Good heavens, if a shift in color was sending TLC down the tubes, they were in worse shape then anyone could imagine. No, I suspect the real issue lies deeper than that. Let's try looking at (...) (18 years ago, 18-Mar-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

| | Re: 10183 Hobby Train Review
|
| (...) I'm not sure what you're saying. That because Lego doesn't have a DCC system, arbitrary curve geometry, etc, that Lego doesn't *have* a hobbyist market? Here's the skinny: You've got people who don't care if we switch to a battery system, and (...) (18 years ago, 12-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| (...) See, now, again, this has nothing to do with anything. Yeah, you're older than I am. You're older than most AFOLs. Ok. But I don't think being older gives you a free pass to be condescending. That's the sort of thing I mean. You can say what (...) (18 years ago, 8-Mar-07, to lugnet.inv)

|
| Hi Alastair, thanks for sharing your architecture creations. I love the way you build these typical houses form England. And you not only did "copy and paste", you added various styles. So life comes into the LEGO bricks. I remember these types of (...) (18 years ago, 6-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

| | NO DINNER THIS FRIDAY!

| Yes I'm shouting.... As Bricks in the Six is going to be well underway by this Friday, there won't be a (non-rtlToronto) dinner at Swiss Chalet. We will get back together in September and hopefully have a great report from attendees of Bricks in the (...) (5 years ago, 7-Aug-19, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

| | Re: 4679 Fall Spring Cleaning Bonus
|
| (...) Wow. Compared to the US version of 4679+bonus, that is a much more logical set. More like the 4400 "spumoni ice cream" tub two years ago. The US 4679 bonus was a wild mix typically including unpaired skew bricks. -Erik (19 years ago, 13-Sep-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Unless I've got the wrong grey (quite possible; bley genealogy bores me), L3P complains and applies the default color, but it doesn't remove the the part from the (...)
