BrickFest Commemorative Bricks For Sale for Attendees

I, "The BrickEngraver", "Tommy Armstrong" am going to be providing some
commemorative BrickFest Items for those who attend BrickFest in Portland. These
have been sanctioned by the coordinating committee and will be sold by Matt
Chiles at his bazaar table. Since these will be limited in number and I would
like everyone attending the opportunity of purchasing one, I would like to get
some indication of the quantity to produce.
There will be about 6 different products made.
All will be engraved and hand polished to a mirror finish on the engraved side.
1) 2x4 engraved brick with the upper half of the logo relief engraved and with
Portland on the back. They will be drilled with a hole in the left side so that
if one wants to make a keyring out of it a jump ring and split ring can be
attached. (rings included). Matt will be able to put the ring on onsite, if one
is desired. Price will be $3.75 each
2) 2x4x3 White brick with whole logo relief engraved (studs protrude) $5.00
each. These can be filled with black or left unfilled—white on white. Hand
polished to mirror finish. Very classy IMHO.
3) 2x4x3 White Brick with lower part of logo relief engraved and a 2x4 "cap
brick" with the top part of logo relief engraved. Hand polished to a mirror
finish. Price $6.50 each
4) 4 2x4 Black bricks stacked with full logo engraved. Same as above. The
bottom three with the lower part of the logo and the top brick the top part of
logo. These will be left black on black and hand polished to a mirror finish on
all 4 sides. Price $7.50 each. These really look kewl IMHO but are a real pain
to make as have to minimize the joint as much as possible.
5) Minifig torsos –white with black and black with white with "BrickFest 2007"
engraved on front. Perhaps "Portland" on back or perhaps small 2x2 brick
representation as on the upper left of the logo. Hand polished to a mirror
finish. Price $2.50 each. You have to supply the heads, arms, hands, legs, etc.
but should be vendors there for them to be available. And there is always the
LEGO store to fulfill your parts needs. I would love to see what yall do with
those.
6) Small 1x2 clear reverse engraved with BrickFest 2007 on them and filled with
black. Price $.75 each or 2 for $1.00.
I can also do the logo on 1x4x3 panels if one wants to use them for containers
or whatever.
To many, these prices might seem a bit high but they take quite a bit of time to
produce and of course Matt has to make something for all his efforts. I think
you will be pleased with the quality.
I will make enough to cover any responses that I have and also a few more, but
since these will ONLY BE SOLD AT BrickFest, I would like some indication of the
quantities to produce. All unsold will be destroyed.
Note: if for some reason you get there and decided not to purchase, that is
fine. An email indicating a desire is not a "binding contract" to purchase. But
I will try and produce enough cover all responses. And I of course would
appreciate it that if you did indicate a desire to purchase, that you would do
so unless you feel the "quality is not up to snuff" as they say.
