  Re: New instructions at lego.com

(...) Be it carpet, grass, or a bad haircut on a big headed friend... I find this pic so laughable and insulting to the target audience. My own kids rolled their eyes at this one and called "lame". The pic that shows kids not to dump out all the (...) (17 years ago, 24-May-07, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Jason J. Railton; de-lurking [& TVLF Trains]

(...) Pictures? Well, I'm still trying to put a website together. Yes, I've built the tender around a motor block. I couldn't hide the motor in the body because the main part of the body is only four studs wide. The trouble is, this gives me nowhere (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: 2004 Catalog Sighting

Funny thing, I noticed this thread as I was looking for a newsgroup to post this to. Forgive me if this doesn't come up as a followup - the LUGNET posting system doesn't like me for some reason, so I have to do everything by email. Well, here's your (...) Ya, now that you say it that this is what GG would look like when it hatches is such a cool thought. According to my beloved writer; GG being only a few thousand years old, it would certainly have time to change, molt and grow into the beast known (...)   Re: General Box #4 ( was Re: General Box #3

Wow, what a mess. So is this the right thread for posting about the real General Box #4? Obviously haven't been many activity postings and I don't always read them myself anyway but here goes. As I stated in the GB #5 thread this box has quite a few (...) (25 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.jambalaya)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

Well ideally they would just go back to making everything in the original colors. I really wanted to like the new Spiderman and Harry Potter sets too. The mini-Star Destroyer set really irks me though. The perfect space accessory pack ruined by new (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

(...) No one is more curious than I as to what the 800 page book will contain! :-D From the bits and pieces I've gotten off of Bricklink here's sort of what type of information will be included on each set... 1) A photograph of the box. 2) The years (...) (...) I'll bet one or more of: - New mold costs. New mold shows up in only 1 set? Only one set shares the overhead. - Difficult-to-manufacture costs. Minifigs come pre-assembled and are 9+ actual pieces, some of the parts are larger, etc. - Lucas (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars)
