  2001 SW Lego

Well, it looks like I'm in luck! I stopped by the Wal-Mart on the way home to pick up a spare A-Wing Fighter, and what do I find inside but the new 2001 LEGO catalog! Sorry, no scans yet, I just upgraded my OS and the driver isn't working properly, (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  so...

I'm working on my train layout. it's like 3 weeks before the show and i've barely begun.so if y'all don't mind that my whole layout is like a 'work in progress', it'd be appreciated. As well, in the train layout i'm working on stuff that will make (...) (19 years ago, 10-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I wrote awhile back complaining about the inventories at Peeron. I am happy to say that Clark has been taking my emails and correctingthe inventories and adding the pictures of sets and parts that I have been sending. I feel rather sorry for him as (...) (18 years ago, 6-Nov-06, to lugnet.inv)

  Re: Lugnet Newsgroups Anniversary!

Well I've not been here for the whole year, but I do think that the whole community is so strong that it really is difficult to believe to is only one year old. I'm sure this reflects both the hard work Todd has put into the project and the (...) (25 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Future Mindstorm Releases?

(...) The one thing that makes me wonder about this is their consistent release of new products that AREN'T RCX bricks.   Re: Appreciating what TLG and Lego Direct have done for AFOL's

(...) Well, there will always be AFOLs who will forever vocally belittle, despise, and challenge the color change. And you'll just have to deal with it. My guess is that the majority still *very* much hates the color change (that's certainly the (...) (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.color)

Re: possible answer to yellowed parts

(...) YES, it works, but there are even simpler solutions. A safe way which has been succesfully tried by many Czech and Slovak AFOLs at www.kostky.org since 2005 (sorry, I don't recall who invented it): - you can restore only parts meant to be (...) (16 years ago, 5-Mar-09, to lugnet.general)

(...) Actually we should love those new Raptors and the Pteranodon. I, too, think that they don't look as "cool" as the Spinosaur, but I think it's a great approach of TLC not to make more SPUDs, but add some smaller special parts and build up the (...) I've never actually built with the original pneumatics, but my understanding is that the way to use switches in the old pneumatics is different than the way you use them with dual ported pistons. Shazzam! Holy crap, that's gorgeous. Favorite things: 1) The stately front gate with the 1x1 bricks in the inner arch. 2) The brilliant vintage telephone design and 1x1 plate monstrosity stone fireplace in the Entrance Hall. 3) The way the connected (...)
