  A Non-Griping Letter With Gasp! Praise for Lego!
 
I visit Lugnet every day to see what people are saying about my favorite hobby, and it seems to me that just about every other post is a gripe about Lego... whether it be about the new colours or the new sets... about an hour after i posted i had this great idea to use the ball joints from the legs and arms of the old throw bots. normally i would never mutalate pieces like this but my dogs think they make great chew toys, anyway I just use them in (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) just (...) I agree TLG or LG are useful to distinguish between company and product line (or brand). But what's so wrong about calling the product line/ brand name "LEGO" ?! It's not just bricks. In the Netherlands we say 'Do you have any LEGO (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

Hi Jake, Here are a couple of possible ways to go. 1. Create theme buckets in old colors: "Classic-Space Bucket" - basically this would include speciallized elements found in the first lines of the Space theme - take for instance the light gray (...) Hi everyone - I have for trade an excellent condition 6080 King's Castle. This set unfortunately does not include any minifigs. Being a fan of the old style fire stations like these, I must say, this part of the country is probably one of the best areas for the historic fire stations. In the current catalog, there is a picture of the 500 piece bonus tubs from before (set 4679, the one with the good parts in them). In the store I was in (carousell in perth) they had a sign for them that said "red buckets". The actual stock had the (...) (19 years ago, 29-Sep-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Hi folks! I got a scan of a newspaper concerning a 51 years old Lego fan, who has built a whole town in his subterrain rooms. Now he has come out and shows his stuff including some train layout in a museum (he owns one to two million bricks in (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town) !

I saw someone's (sorry can't remember who) diagram for constructing an AND function with two touch sensors and three wires and this got me to thinking, it would be relativly easy to make an AND gate brick (it could even have a little schematic AND (...)
