(...) Here is an idea for TLG: lego cleaner: a oproduct specificly designed for cleaning lego parts, designed so that it wont leave residue on the bricks, damage the bricks or melt ABS. Hello, One of my co-workers brought in an old brick that his wife had, and was looking for some information on it. (...) That is a Pre-School brick. Made only by Samsonite, and only in two sets that I know of. Set 041 only had white & red bricks. (URL) blue one came in set 503 which had yellow, red, white, and blue. That set isn't listed on Lugnet, but here's a (...) (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.general)

Hey guys, So, at the suggestion Trevyn Watson, I've been reading the controversy over the colour change stuff. Who the hell are these people? I *did* like the effect, though, when I built a roof with a mix of old, slightly curved, CA slopes, and modern bricks. It looked more 'live'. -- Anders (...) (...) Actually, today's red is much different than '70s red. This color shocked me when I exited my dark ages and compared my '60s-'80s bricks with my '90s+. (...) I'm pretty sure from what I've read that they use pre-colored pellets. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the machines run the same color for long periods of time, such that changing colors would only require normal maintenance cleaning of the (...) The seller I buy from who I get the smoke permeated stuff from seems to mostly break down new sets and sell parts, so they are not exposed to a smoky environment for very long, so I haven't (...)
