  Re: Castle structure advice...

(...) I'd certainly agree... size is everything. The larger a model is, the more difficult it becomes to modify it. And it sounds like you're planning a pretty big model (being more than 30 bricks in height). Hence, I'd argue for either the open (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

To All; I have posted several parts lots to E-Bay for my roommate Tony. He has a few extra sets he wants to sell off, so he wants to post all the parts on E-bay of the 7171 Mos Espa Podrace.   Re: 2000 castle sucks

(...) Castle has been "juniorized" since the first 'wall pieces' came out. LEGO fans were more willing to accept that because the castles, even though they were made out of big single-purpose wall & tower segments, they still managed to look cool (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

No Spoilers here! I too wanted this to be the Film of the Decade, but after viewing it in the flickering dark, all I can say for sure is "Now we had better have it again."   Re: Castle structure advice...

(...) I guess one question you need to ask is how static/dynamic do you want your model to be? Are you going to be moving people around on a daily basis or are you going to just let it be for months on end. If your model is going to be dynamic, (...) (25 years ago, 2-Dec-99, to lugnet.castle)

But you have two main disadvantages: - the air friction gets higher (because the surface area increases - the modern (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)
