  B1,Duplo and National Geographic

The February 1988 edition of National Geographic (Vol. 173, NO. 2) was wholly devoted to things Australian, due to the Bicentennial activities of that year. On page 191 there is a photo of the Prime Minister of the time, Bob Hawke, described in the (...) (20 years ago, 1-Aug-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I honestly was going to respond to this this afternoon. With the end of a term and the new begun, work has been mildly insane. I'm glad things I have built can influence someone—particularly someone who's had a great impact on my building. (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

2002 Alpha Team squid set @ TRU in Pinole, California

Hey all, At least one of the 2002 sets has made it to the West coast! I snapped up one of these (can't remember the set #, believe it's called "Mission Deep Sea") and after I discovered all the great parts, I immediately wished I'd bought at least (...) Wow, wow, wow! I really like this one. The details in the cockpits are really nice- it really gives the impression that these 2 people are manning a big hunk of steel through outer space. The engines are nice, too- the flare effect is reall nice. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

This is fun idea. I've wondered what lies beyond the SW contract for Lego Space. The LoM stuff has sorta grown on me over the last couple years and I've come to miss some the original themes. With the evolution that has come from SW parts, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 29-Apr-03, to lugnet.space)
