  Re: Memory

One problem that I think of right off is the H8300 has a maximum address space of 64kb. Granted, that's alot more memory than we have right now, but I just thought I'd bring it up. (...) (26 years ago, 7-Feb-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Thank for the answer, Dave, this is the kind of info I'm looking for. BUT! I don't think it is correct: 0x8000 is 32k: the firmware would start at the end of memory!?! 0xbfff is 48k: unless the 16k of the rom are counted of course... Then this mean (...) Povray sucks up 800+MB of virtual memory while parsing Datsville. If we saved some of those memory structures as binary maped files and povray could work against those the next time it rendered, It should speed it up alot. I'm assuming that most of (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Cybermaster memory limit?
